Privacy policy

Mapceline is a small shop run by İzel Selin Şenel that sells personalized map prints as digital downloads on Etsy. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us when you order.

What we receive

When you buy from us on Etsy, Etsy shares with us what we need to make your order: your name, your Etsy username, the item and color you chose, the text you wrote in the personalization box (for example a place, an address, names or a date), and any messages you send us. We do not receive your payment details; Etsy handles payments.

How we use it

• To design your map and deliver your files.
• To answer your messages and help with your order.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as order and tax records.

To place your map we look up the place you gave us in open map services (OpenStreetMap and related services). Only the place itself is sent, never your name.

If you buy a printed poster, our print partner Gelato receives the print file and the shipping details of your order so it can print and ship it. Gelato's privacy policy applies to that part.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as needed to fulfil your order through Etsy or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order details for as long as we need them to complete your order and support you afterwards, and records the law requires for as long as it requires. You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not ask you for any personal information. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time to keep the site secure.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Etsy's own privacy policy also applies to your purchase.
